This weekend sees the return of the much-loved Brackley Beer Festival hosted by Brackley Round Table.

Taking place at Brackley Town Park this Saturday 27th between 12 – 8 pm the BBF is one of our town’s most popular summer events  and although it is tremendous fun there’s a worthy point to the event as all proceeds go to charity.

So what to expect? Well on entry to the festival, visitors can get a commemorative glass which can be filled with their beer of choice and kept as a souvenir and for use at home. As the name implies there will be an excellent selection of over 60 real ales, beers and lager on offer, as well a fine selection of wines, gin and Pimms to enjoy plus, of course, soft drinks and other refreshments for youngsters. There’ll also be a selection of food and snacks available to purchase.

Tons of live music featuring local bands and artists will help give this event a real festival feel. With a line-up of music throughout the day and bouncy castles, face-painting and other activities for the kids, this is the perfect event for a day out full of food, beer and music with friends or family.

Entrance fee is just £3 or £5 with commemorative glass.

So make sure you get down to the Brackley Beer Festival for a hopefully sunny Saturday full of fun and support some great local causes. Over £20,000 was raised last year when more than 3000 people attended.

Here’s a shot of last year’s event which was a great day. If you’d like to send us some pics from Saturday’s festival we’ll post a selection of the best on here for everyone to enjoy. Do send your own captions too! Remember its a family site!! Send to

See you there!! Paul Leonard
