On Saturday 10th there is an evening bat walk at Farthinghoe Nature Reserve.  Meet up at the railway bridge on Purston Road (just past the recycling centre at Farthinghoe) about 7.15pm for a walk around the reserve before congregating in the railway cutting as the light falls (around 8.30pm) to watch and listen out for the bats.  The event is free but any donations to the Wildlife Trust would be welcome on the day.  Bring stout footwear, there is a kissing gate and steps to negotiate.

 Sunday 11th from 10am-1pm there is a car boot sale in Brackley Town FC car park (sellers from 9am, £5).All proceeds to the Saints Community Project  Wednesday at BTFC, helping combat isolation in the community. Inside space if weather is unkind.

Saturday 17th August Sausage and Cider festival at Brackley Rugby club, Nightingale Close from noon-10pm.

Live music and street food and a fantastic range of real, craft and sparkling ciders to chose from. Free parking, lots of fun for kids (free entry).
